Decide before you drive, not after.

A trip from Ave Maria to the studio is not something you do on a whim, and it should not be treated like a quick errand once you arrive either. Oil Well Road into Immokalee Road is a real drive, and the sessions that make the best use of it are the ones planned before the car is even packed, not decided after you have already arrived.

That means thinking through which session you actually want, a headshot, a personal brand library, team headshots for people you work with, or something private and just for you, before you call to book, and thinking through what to wear for headshots before you pack for the day. A session built around a real drive deserves a real plan, not a decision made on the way.

None of this makes the drive complicated. It only means a phone call happens first, so that by the time you turn onto Immokalee Road heading toward the studio, everything about the session is already decided.

That is a real commitment, and I do not pretend a private studio session is the only reason to make it. But for clients who want guided posing, a calm and unhurried pace, and a photographer who plans every detail with them beforehand, it is the difference between a quick photo and a portrait that actually works for you.

The point is not to overload the day, it is to make sure a drive this size is not spent on a single quick photo when it could cover more of what you have been meaning to do.
