Headshots for the owner behind the business.

For a local business, you are the difference between a name and a neighbor. Your face goes on the storefront website, the Google profile people check before they call, the community page and the flyer on the counter. I make headshots in my private Naples studio that look warm, real and approachable, guided every step so you come across exactly as you do when a regular walks through your door.

The Local Face

People buy from people they trust.

When someone is choosing a local business, they are really choosing a person. They pull up your Google Business Profile, glance at the photo next to the reviews, then click to the website to see who they would actually be dealing with. A friendly, current headshot tells them you are established, that you stand behind your work, and that there is a real human on the other end of the phone. A missing photo, or a pixelated one cropped out of a group shot, leaves them guessing, and people rarely call a business they cannot picture. A face turns a search result into someone your neighbor feels they already sort of know, and that small familiarity is often what earns the call over the competitor down the road.

The thing is, most owners are wonderful with customers and awkward in front of a camera. You can talk to anyone across the counter, but a lens makes you freeze. That is completely normal, and it is the entire point of guided posing. You do not need to know how to stand or what to do with your hands. I walk you through every step, the way you would walk a new customer through your shop, so the photo ends up looking like the approachable owner your regulars already know. Customers can tell the difference between a picture that was endured and one that was enjoyed, and the second kind quietly makes you look like someone worth doing business with.

The Session

What your session includes.

01

Guided from the first frame

I direct the posing and the smile so you look relaxed and genuine, even if you have dodged the camera for years and would honestly rather be running the shop. You never have to figure out a thing on your own.

02

Looks that fit your business

A couple of backgrounds and wardrobe changes in one sitting, from a clean professional look to the everyday work attire your customers know you in, so the photos match how people actually meet you day to day.

03

Ready for your storefront

Hand-retouched and delivered within the week, sized for your Google profile, your website, Facebook and the printed pieces around your counter, with nothing extra for you to do once they land.

Made for where customers find you.

A small-business headshot earns its keep in the everyday places people check before they buy. It sits beside your reviews on Google, on the meet-the-owner part of your site, on your Facebook page and on the cards and flyers that live by the register. I deliver files cropped and sized for each of those, so one sitting quietly covers your whole local presence, and you never have to fuss with resizing anything yourself. When you finally update that Google listing or hand your web person new photos, everything simply fits, and your business looks put-together across every place a customer might land.

  • Your Google Business Profile and the map listing customers tap first
  • The About or meet-the-owner page on your website
  • Facebook, community groups and the local pages your neighbors follow

Real and relatable, not stiff and staged.

The best owner photos do not look like corporate headshots. They look like you, the person customers picture when they think of your business, warm and approachable and clearly proud of what you built. That comes down to catching a genuine expression instead of a frozen say-cheese smile, and knowing the exact moment to press the shutter is the part I bring to the table so it never feels forced. The goal is a photo that feels like meeting you, not auditing you, because that is what turns a curious click into a phone call.

It is also why a real sitting beats a quick phone selfie or an AI-generated portrait for a local owner. Your customers can smell something fake, and a stiff or over-processed photo works against the very trust you are trying to build. I read your expression as we go, adjust the light and the angle, and coach the small things, so the final image feels like the handshake before the handshake. For a business that lives on word of mouth and repeat regulars, looking genuinely like yourself is not a nice-to-have, it is the whole job.

A private studio in the heart of Naples.

Sessions are shot in my private studio at 5400 Yahl Street in Naples, at a calm, unhurried pace with no audience and no pressure. It is just the two of us, good music and a simple plan, which is exactly why owners who swore they hate having their picture taken end up relaxing and having a genuinely good time. There is no line of customers, no rush, nothing to manage but yourself for once.

I photograph business owners who come to the studio from Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island and across Southwest Florida, from one-person shops to family businesses with a small crew. Owners often book when they refresh their branding, open a second location, or realize the only photo of them online was cropped out of a party five years ago. Whether you need a single portrait for your storefront or a matched set for the whole team, the goal is the same: a photo that makes calling you feel easy.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

How soon will I get my photos?
Your retouched images are delivered within the week in a private online gallery you can download and use right away, on your website, your Google profile or anywhere else your customers find you.
What should I wear?
Wear what your customers would recognize you in. If you are behind a counter in a branded shirt, bring it; if you want a cleaner, more polished look too, bring that as well. Solid colors photograph best and busy patterns can distract, and we plan it together so one sitting gives you both the professional version and the everyday one.
I really hate having my picture taken. Can you work with that?
You and almost every owner I meet, and it is exactly what guided posing is for. I direct each step so you never have to figure out what to do, keep it easygoing, and most people who dreaded it walk out surprised by how painless, even fun, it turned out to be. You spend all day putting customers at ease; let me return the favor.
Can you photograph my whole team so we match?
Yes. I can shoot everyone to a consistent background, crop and look so your team page matches, and adding a new hire to the set later is simple. Call me and we will sort out timing for the group so it barely dents your week.
Do you work with owners outside Naples?
My studio is in Naples, and business owners come to it from Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Marco Island and throughout Southwest Florida for their session.
How do I book, and how much is a session?
Pricing is personal, so the best way to plan is a quick call. Reach me at (239) 319-6171 and we will talk through what your business needs, the looks that fit and the timing, and find a time that works.
