Headshots for consultants who command premium rates.

When you consult, your expertise is invisible, so your photo has to signal it. It fronts your LinkedIn, rides along on every proposal, and introduces you in the speaking bio before you reach the stage. I make headshots in my private Naples studio that look sharp, credible and quietly authoritative, guided from the first frame so you look every bit as capable as the rates you charge.

Credibility Signals

You are asking clients to trust your judgment.

Consulting sells something no one can see until later: your thinking. So clients read every proxy they can find, and your photo is one of the loudest. It sits on your LinkedIn, at the top of the proposal that quotes a serious number, in the bio on the conference program, on the firm one-pager a prospect passes up the chain. A sharp, current, confident image says this is someone worth the fee. A dated or careless one plants a small doubt at the precise moment you need certainty. At premium rates the buyer is nervous by definition, and a confident, current portrait is one quiet thing that settles the nerve instead of feeding it.

The bar is high and specific. You need to look polished without looking slick, authoritative without looking arrogant, approachable without looking junior. That is a narrow target, and it lives almost entirely in expression and light, which is nearly impossible to steer on your own. This is where guided posing does the heavy lifting. I direct the details so you look as sharp as your work, calling each adjustment as we go, so the credibility in the final frame reads as effortless rather than staged. The goal is to look like a specific mind worth hiring, not a well-dressed placeholder, and that distinction is entirely in the details.

The Session

What your consultant session includes.

01

Directed for credibility

I coach posture, expression and gaze so you look decisive and approachable at once, even if you are far more comfortable in a client meeting than in front of a camera. You will not have to guess, because I direct every frame.

02

Looks for every touchpoint

Several backgrounds and wardrobe changes in one sitting, from formal tailoring for the proposal to a sharp business-casual look for your bio, so one visit covers every place you show up, from the boardroom to the keynote.

03

Ready for the proposal

Hand-retouched and delivered within the week, cropped and sized for LinkedIn, proposals, speaking bios and your firm page, so you never send a pitch with a weak photo again or apologize for the one you have.

Made for LinkedIn, proposals, and the stage.

A consultant's headshot has to perform in high-stakes places where there is little margin for error. It is the first thing a decision-maker sees on your LinkedIn, it sits beside a serious figure on a proposal, and it introduces you in the program before a keynote. I deliver files cropped and sized for each of those, so a single sitting carries the formal portrait for the proposal and the confident, personable one for your profile and your bio. When a proposal has to go out within the hour or a conference needs a speaker photo by end of day, you attach the right file immediately instead of settling for what you already have.

  • LinkedIn, where most prospects quietly vet you before the first call
  • Proposals, statements of work and firm one-pagers
  • Speaking bios, panel programs and the conference circuit

Sharp and credible, never generic.

The portraits that justify premium fees avoid a trap most business headshots fall into: looking interchangeable. A great consultant photo looks specific, like a particular expert with a point of view, not a stock image of a person in a suit. That specificity comes from a real expression caught at the right instant and light that flatters without flattening, and reading that in the moment is exactly what I am there to do. A prospect should look at your photo and sense a distinct, capable person, not scroll past one more generic headshot in a sea of them.

It is also why a live sitting beats an AI-generated headshot when your credibility is the product. An algorithm can assemble a plausible face, but a sophisticated client can sense the uncanny smoothness, and the last thing your brand can afford is to look manufactured. I watch your expression frame by frame, fine-tune the light and the angle, and coach the small details so the final image looks like someone worth every dollar of the engagement. When you are asking a client to trust your judgment on the things that matter, your own portrait is a strange place to let a machine guess.

A private studio in the heart of Naples.

Every session is shot in my private studio at 5400 Yahl Street in Naples, at an unhurried pace with no audience and nothing rushing you out the door. It is just the two of us, a plan set in advance and enough time to get it right, which is why consultants who expected to grit their teeth through it tend to relax faster than they thought they would. There is no client to manage and no meeting to run, just one focused hour that pays off for years.

I photograph consultants and advisors who come to the studio from Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island and across Southwest Florida, from independent specialists to partners at established firms. Many book when they raise their rates, refresh a firm site, or line up a season of speaking and realize their photo no longer signals the tier they now play at. Whether you need one definitive portrait or a matched set so your whole practice looks aligned, the goal is the same: an image that makes your expertise easy to believe before you say a word.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

How soon will I have my headshots?
Your retouched images are delivered within the week in a private online gallery you can download in full resolution and put straight to work on your profile, your next proposal or your speaker bio.
What should a consultant wear?
Bring two or three options that match how you present to clients, a well-tailored suit, a jacket without a tie, a crisp solid shirt. Sharp, simple tailoring reads as competence on camera, while loud patterns pull focus off your face. We plan the order together, and you can change during the sitting so one session covers formal and business-casual.
I am confident with clients but not on camera. Will that show?
It is the most common thing I hear from professionals, and guided posing is the answer. You will never be left guessing what to do. I direct each adjustment, watch what is working, and most people are surprised how quickly the stiffness disappears and they start to look like themselves again, which is exactly the person a client wants to hire.
Can you match everyone at my firm?
Yes. I can shoot to a consistent background, crop and lighting so your whole team looks aligned on the site and in proposals, and I am happy to work from any brand guidelines. Adding a new hire to the set later is simple, and we can arrange scheduling so it barely interrupts the practice. Call me and we will map it out.
Do you work with consultants outside Naples?
My studio is in Naples, and consultants come to it from Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Marco Island and throughout Southwest Florida for their session.
How do I book, and what does a session cost?
Pricing is personal, so the best way to plan is a quick call. Reach me at (239) 319-6171 and we will talk through what your practice needs, the looks that will serve you and the timing, and get you on the calendar.
