Headshots for entrepreneurs building from scratch.

When your company is young, you are the proof it is real. Your face carries the pitch deck, the About page, the press feature and the profile a prospect studies before that first call. I make founder headshots in my private Naples studio that look modern, warm and genuinely like you, guided from the first frame so your energy reads as confidence instead of nerves.

You Are The Brand

Before the brand, there is you.

In the early days a startup does not have a big logo or a wall of press to hide behind. It has you. Investors skim the team slide before they read the deck, reporters want a face to run with the story, and the person deciding whether to trust a brand-new company often lands on your About page first. A photo that looks current, confident and human tells them there is a real, capable person behind the idea. A blurry crop from a friend's wedding tells them the opposite, no matter how good the product is. Momentum is a feeling, and your photo is one of the first places a stranger decides whether your company has it.

Founders also sit in a funny spot. You want to look established enough to be taken seriously, but not so buttoned-up that you lose the scrappy, approachable energy that makes people root for you. That mix is hard to summon on cue, especially if you are the type who would rather be shipping than posing. Guided posing is the fix. I call every angle and expression, keep the mood light, and coach you through it so the version of you in the frame is confident, personable and ready to be the face of the thing you are building. Founders get judged on likeability as much as competence, and likeability is nearly impossible to fake into a lens without someone drawing it out.

The Session

What your founder session includes.

01

Directed, start to finish

I run the posing and the expressions so you look self-assured and approachable, even if you would rather pitch a room of investors than stand in front of a lens. No guesswork on your part, because I am calling every frame.

02

Range for every channel

Several looks and backgrounds in one sitting, from a clean, credible portrait for the deck to a relaxed, personable frame for the About page and social, so a single visit covers the whole brand from the boardroom to the feed.

03

Ready for launch day

Hand-retouched and delivered within the week, sized for your pitch deck, your press kit, your website and every profile, so you can drop them in the moment you need them without touching a single setting.

Made for the deck, the press, the About page.

A founder headshot has to stretch across everything at once. The same face has to look right on an investor's team slide, in a press feature, on a crowdfunding page and in the small circle beside your name in an investor update. I deliver files cropped and sized for all of those, so one sitting carries the polished version for the raise and the warmer version for the audience you are trying to win over. When a reporter asks for a headshot on deadline or an accelerator needs your photo for the demo-day page, you are ready in seconds instead of sending whatever your phone can find.

  • The team slide in your pitch deck and the About page on your site
  • Press features, podcast guesting and speaker bios
  • LinkedIn, the founder profile, and the socials where your brand actually lives

Modern and personable, not stiff and corporate.

The headshots that work for founders feel like a person you would want to grab coffee with, not a stock photo of an executive. That means real warmth in the eyes, an easy posture, and a look that matches the brand you are building rather than the one your accountant works at. Hitting that note is far more about expression and timing than gear, and reading it as it happens is the part I obsess over so you do not have to. The aim is a photo that looks like the person, not the pitch, because people back people first.

It is also why a live sitting beats an AI-generated headshot for a founder. An algorithm can fake a jawline, but it cannot tell the difference between confident and cocky, or catch the half-second where you actually look like yourself. I watch for that frame, adjust the light and the angle, and coach the small things, so the final image looks like the founder people are glad they backed rather than a polished stranger. When authenticity is the whole brand promise, a synthetic face is a strange place to cut a corner.

A private studio in the heart of Naples.

Every session happens in my private studio at 5400 Yahl Street in Naples, at a relaxed pace with no audience and no clock ticking on your behalf. It is just the two of us, some music and a plan we set in advance, which is why even founders who dread this kind of thing settle in and, more often than not, end up enjoying it. There is no committee, no client watching, nothing to perform for, just a good conversation with a camera in the room.

I work with entrepreneurs who come to the studio from Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island and across Southwest Florida, from solo founders to small teams gearing up for a raise. Plenty of founders book right before a launch, a raise or a rebrand, when a current, credible face suddenly matters more than it ever has. Whether you need one definitive portrait or a matched set for the whole founding team, the goal is the same: images that make your young company look like one worth betting on.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

How fast can I get my headshots? I have a launch coming up.
Your retouched images are delivered within the week in a private online gallery you can download right away and drop straight into your deck, your site or your press kit. If you are planning around a launch or a raise, call me and we will schedule the sitting with room to spare so everything is in hand before the date.
What should a founder wear?
Bring a few options that match the brand you are building, from a sharp jacket for the investor deck to the everyday look your customers would recognize. Solid colors read cleanest on camera, and simple usually beats trendy, since a photo that chases this year's look dates quickly. We plan the looks together beforehand, and you can change during the sitting so one session spans polished and casual.
I would rather pitch than pose. Will this be painful?
That is the most common thing founders tell me, and guided posing is built for exactly it. You will not have to invent a single thing. I direct every angle and expression, keep it loose, and most people who came in bracing for it leave a little surprised at how easy it turned out to be, and how much of it felt like a normal conversation.
Can I get both a serious and a casual look?
Absolutely, and I would encourage it. In one sitting we can shoot a credible, polished frame for the deck and press and a warmer, more relaxed one for your About page and social, plus a couple of backgrounds, so you are covered wherever your brand shows up and you are not reshooting every time you launch something new.
Do you photograph founders from outside Naples?
My studio is in Naples, and entrepreneurs come to it from Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, Marco Island and all over Southwest Florida for their session.
How do I book, and what does a session cost?
Pricing is personal, so the best way to plan is a quick call. Reach me at (239) 319-6171 and we will talk through what you need for the brand, the looks that will serve you and the timing, and get you on the calendar.
