LinkedIn headshots that are your digital handshake.

On LinkedIn your photo does the talking before you ever get the chance to, sitting at the top of your profile and beside every message you send. I make LinkedIn headshots in my private Naples studio that look current, approachable and genuinely like you. I guide you the whole way, so the confident version is the one that shows up.

Why It Matters

Your profile photo is the first hello.

Before anyone reads your headline, scans your experience or clicks connect, they see your photo. Recruiters, hiring managers, prospective clients and future colleagues all form a quick, quiet judgment from that one small circle. A clear, warm, professional headshot tells them you are established, easy to talk to and paying attention to your own presentation. A dim selfie, a cropped group photo or a picture from five jobs ago tells them something else, and you rarely get the chance to explain it. On a platform built entirely around who people decide to trust, that first impression is worth getting right. Most people quietly know their profile photo could be stronger, and they simply have not made the time to fix it. This is the rare piece of your presence that keeps paying you back for years, so it is worth an hour of real attention.

The good news is that you do not have to perform for the camera or know a single thing about posing. That is my job. I read the room, direct your chin, your shoulders and your eyes, and coach the small adjustments that turn a tense expression into an easy one. Camera nerves are the most normal thing in the world, and guided posing is exactly how we get past them. By the end you are not acting confident, you simply look like yourself on a good day, which is the entire point of a headshot that has to work this hard in so few pixels. You do not have to like being photographed. You only have to show up and let me steer, and the picture will take care of itself.

The Session

What your LinkedIn session includes.

01

Guided from the first frame

I direct every angle, tilt and expression, so even if you dread being photographed you will leave with a profile picture you are glad to use. You never have to guess what to do with your hands or where to look.

02

Looks that fit your field

Several backgrounds and wardrobe changes in one sitting, from buttoned up and corporate to relaxed and approachable, so your photo matches your industry and the exact impression you want to make.

03

Cropped right for the platform

Hand retouched and delivered within the week in a private gallery, framed cleanly for the round LinkedIn profile crop and sized for the rest of your profiles, all with no extra work on your end.

Made for how LinkedIn actually shows you.

LinkedIn does not display your photo the way you shot it. It drops your face into a small circle, shrinks it in the feed and shows it on a phone far more often than a monitor. A headshot that looks perfectly fine at full size can lose you entirely at that scale, with your face floating too small to read or cropped in a way you never intended. I compose with all of that in mind, keeping your face at a size and position that still reads clearly when the image is barely bigger than a fingertip, so the impression holds up everywhere your name appears. A recruiter skimming a long list of candidates, a prospect deciding whether to open your message, a panel clicking quickly through profiles, they all meet that small thumbnail first, and it should look like the face of someone worth a closer read.

You also get room to grow beyond the profile picture. From the same sitting I can deliver a wider frame that suits your banner, a cleaner corporate look for a company page, and a friendlier one for the posts and comments where people actually get to know you. One session covers the whole surface of your presence on the platform. And when it is time to refresh, you already know exactly how the process goes, which makes updating quick and almost effortless instead of one more thing you keep putting off. If you switch companies or refresh your branding down the road, we can carry the same look forward, so your profile never quietly falls out of step with where your career actually is.

Approachable and credible, at the same time.

The headshots that work on LinkedIn hold two things in balance at once. You want to look capable enough that a decision maker takes you seriously, and warm enough that a stranger feels comfortable reaching out. That balance lives in your expression and in the light, and it is the exact part almost no one can direct on their own in a bathroom mirror. It is subtle, it shifts from frame to frame, and it is the difference between a photo that looks like an ID badge and one that looks like a person someone would want to talk to. On a network where a warm, credible photo can be the nudge that gets a connection accepted or a note answered, that balance is not a cosmetic nicety, it is the entire reason the photo is there in the first place.

This is where a real session outclasses a quick phone snap or an AI generated portrait every single time. I watch your expression in real time, adjust the angle and the light, and coach the small things, the jaw, the eyes, the set of the shoulders, that make you look relaxed instead of braced. An algorithm can smooth your skin, but it cannot tell the moment you finally exhaled and looked like yourself. That moment is exactly what we are there for, and it is the thing other people quietly respond to when they land on your profile. It is a small, human signal, and it does a surprising amount of quiet work for you every single time your name turns up in someone's feed.

A private studio in the heart of Naples.

Every session is shot in my private studio at 5400 Yahl Street in Naples, at a calm, unhurried pace with no audience and no pressure. It is just the two of us, good music and a simple plan, which is precisely why people who swear they are not photogenic end up enjoying the hour. You are not being processed through an assembly line for a rushed handful of frames. You have my full attention until we have the images you actually need. We start by talking through your goals and planning your looks, then work at a pace that lets you settle in instead of racing a clock, which is usually when the best frames happen.

I photograph professionals from all over Southwest Florida, including Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island and Fort Myers, who come to the studio for their session. Whether you are job hunting, stepping into a new role, building a personal brand or simply tired of the photo you have been hiding behind, the goal never changes. I want your LinkedIn to open with an image that makes the next person who finds you want to hit connect. That is the whole job of the photo, and it is exactly what we set out to make together in that hour.

Good to Know

Questions, answered.

How soon will I have my headshots?
Your hand retouched images are delivered within the week in a private online gallery you can download and share right away, so you can update your profile while the momentum is still there. If you are updating a profile for a job search or a new role, that quick turnaround keeps you from waiting on the one thing everyone will see first.
What should I wear for a LinkedIn headshot?
Bring a few options, from polished and corporate to a slightly more relaxed look that still feels professional. Solid colors photograph best and keep the focus on your face. We plan your looks together before the shoot, and you can change during the session so one sitting gives you real variety. Bringing a jacket and a simpler layer usually gives us two distinct impressions from the same short session.
I hate being photographed. Will this feel awkward?
This is the single most common thing I hear, and it is exactly what guided posing is for. I direct every step, so you never have to figure out how to stand or what to do with your hands. Most people who dread the camera are genuinely surprised by how easy, and even fun, the session turns out to be.
Will my photo be cropped correctly for LinkedIn?
Yes. I frame and deliver a version made for the round LinkedIn profile crop, so your face is not cut off or lost when the platform shrinks it down. You also get wider versions from the same session for your banner and your other profiles.
Do you photograph professionals outside of Naples?
My studio is in Naples, and I regularly work with people who drive in from Bonita Springs, Estero, Marco Island, Fort Myers and across Southwest Florida for their session. Everything is shot here in the studio, where I can control the light and keep things relaxed. Coming to the studio is also what lets me keep the lighting and quality consistent, rather than fighting whatever light an office or cafe happens to have.
How do I book, and how much is a session?
Pricing is personal and depends on what you need, so the best way to plan is a quick call. Reach me at (239) 319-6171 or send a note through the form and I will get back to you personally to talk through the details.
